Accessibility
Every clinician should be able to learn about and sign up for a PRISM course. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Every page has one main heading, and the headings below it follow a logical order.
- Every image has a text description.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard. A “Skip to main content” link comes first, and the item in focus is always outlined.
- Course schedules and FAQ answers are written into the page as text, so screen readers and translation tools can read them.
- Text and buttons are designed to meet WCAG AA color contrast.
- Pages fit phone-size screens without sideways scrolling.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site skips its scroll animations.
What still needs work
- The short lab video on the Pelvic Health course pages doesn’t have captions yet.
- Registration and payment happen on Eventbrite, a separate site with its own accessibility practices. If you have trouble registering there, email us and we’ll help.
Tell us about a problem
